Woof!

On Saturday afternoon Mel & I went to the last class of our dogging training with Sammy. Throughout the week Mel does the training with him so during the Saturday classes I don the treat bag and take over. During the orientation, before the classes began, we were warned to NOT let the dogs great each other during the class while on leases as it is not natural thing for them.

Since we got Sammy back from the kennel, after our Vegas trip, he seems to have developed a bad habit with this. He howls when he can't get to greet other dogs while he is on his lease. During this last class we did a lot of drills with the other dogs in close proximity...I wanted to crawl under a rock. He howled non-stop and the instructor continuously corrected me on what I was doing wrong. It was embarrassing at the moment but after wards, I was happy with the corrections/feedback I was given as I think they will help us reduce the amount of barking he does during these situations.

Later in the evening we met up with Keith & his wife Linda, Susie, and Jill for Indian food in Susie's neck of the woods Cochrane. The food was great and the company was even better. We are discussing the possibility of doing a greek restaurant next month.

Rode, ran, swim over the weekend. Modified my workouts to accommodate my knee. Things are slowly getting better which is a positive sign. I back off when it flares up, icing it a lot, and bought a knee support brace which helps a little bit. Big week this week and next so we'll see what I can get completed.

Your doggie antics remind me of that scene from Marley and Me at the dog obedience school. LMAO!!!

You guys have a regular supper club now, eh? :) :)

We will. The next place might be the Greek place we took Julie to.
