I am a total wuss at indoor riding too -- I watch movies, listen to music; and when I get too drenched I get off and change completely. :) When I'm training I like to be comfortable; racing is not supposed to be comfortable, so I'm Ok with that! :) :)

Glad you're finding good routes to ride! I never know how far out to go, because usually coming back is way faster.

I've never heard of Sage Hill. Another blog buddy was talking about a place that isn't even on google maps, north along Sarcee Trail, past Stoney Trail. That whole area north of Country Hills is totally terra incognita for me.

I think Susi's onto something with the rides, though. You can't use the electronic aides during the race, so I figure it makes good sense to train without them as well. Though I have watched a movie or two while spinning away....

We should start getting the details sorted out for the 70.3 ride. I think if our spouses can drop us off, then Mel meets at our place. Or we could meet them at T2 and run. I don't know, maybe just riding here would be easiest; it's only about 8K from the end of the course ride.
